My name is Susan Harms and I am a Christ lover. I am also a loved wife and a spoiled mother.

Create in Me is a journey through the ups and downs of my Suburban, North Texas life. It is a place where you will see a sliver of my heart, the parts that I choose to lay bare before you. 

I’d like to invite you to join me on my journey. Come with me when I drink my morning coffee and proceed to make a mess in my kitchen, taxi my children, prick my finger with a needle, and tie my running shoes.

Come with me as I laugh at the crazy things I say and do, roll your eyes with me when I get frustrated, and blush with me when I share my deepest secrets.

Grab a glass of water with me after a run, a glass of wine to pair with my delicious recipes, and a box of Kleenex when I need a shoulder to cry on.

Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
